Developmental Classes

The SDVA's first round of 2008 developmental classes begin the second week of March. Classes are 6 weeks long and run from 7-9PM. The cost is $100, and this includes a rental bike if you need one.The Monday and Wedenesday night classes are both appropriate for true beginners as well as advanced track riders

FREE KIDS CLASSES

At the

San Diego Velodrome

Start Dates-Thursday, March 13, April 3, May 1, June 5, July 10, August 7 and September 4

(The first Thursday of the month – except March & July)

What:  Velodrome Track Class for kids (ages 12-18)

Level 1 (Beginner-you must start on the first Thursday of the month)

Level 2 (Intermediate/Advanced)

When:  EVERY Thursday afternoon

      3:30-5:00 (Spring and Fall) 3:00-5:00 (Summer)

                  First session begins March 13, 2008

Where:  San Diego Velodrome

                  Morley Field, Balboa Park

Cost:   FREE!

   But you must bring a parent to sign your release!

Why: Because it’s fun! And it’s safe (no cars). During the 6 week session you will learn and/or improve your bike riding skills. Including:

Pacelines sprints pack riding  race tactics

Leg speed jumps positioning  and more!

Bring:  Shoes (running or tennis shoes)

Helmet (or borrow one of ours), water, warm clothes and a parent to sign your release.
