FNR Schedule Changed + Sprint Night
In order to encourage participation in the upgrade races, we’ve switch the Friday night schedule around. After the success of last week’s sprint night, we’ve also added another sprint night on September 9. Full schedule is posted on the FNR page.

This Friday: Sprint Night + D’s Omnium
This Friday night, 8/12, San Diego Velodrome will have a low key sprint night. Match Sprints and possibly other sprinter-friendly events during the regular Friday Night Race series. Come out and get your speed on! The D’s omnium will also be run as normal.

We now have end of summer upgrade races. They will take place on Aug. 6 (omnium & madison), Aug. 20 (omnium), and Sept. 3 (SD Cup: TT’s and omnium).The Mark Whitehead memorial will follow the Aug. 6 races. More details are on the Upgrade Races page.

Mark Whitehead Memorial on August 6th
As many of you know, Coach Mark Whitehead passed away in his sleep last week. Mark was a well respected coach and athlete, and he will be missed by many. There will be a memorial service for Coach Whitehead on Saturday August 6th, at 6PM. More details will be sent out as they are available.
