The 2011 San Diego Velodrome Tuesday Night Racing runs from April 5th through the end of September.
Eligibility:
Eligible racers are those that have prior TNR race experience, adequate experience racing at another velodrome, or have taken the SDVA developmental class AND received permission to move on from “D” racing on Friday Nights
No racing license is required, and races are broken down by category:
C- 92 Octane (beginners)
B – Alcohol-burning riders (intermediate)
Aces – Top Fuel (fast fast fast)
Racers are mostly self categorized, but the officials and the SDVA reserve the right to restrict the categories and riders at their sole discretion.
Cost is $5 for SDVA Members, $10 for non-members. Cash or Gold Bullion only. No Checks, Change, or empty promises will be accepted.
Junior Racing will be every Tuesday from 5:45 to 6:30 with one race after the MPWU. Juniors cost $1 to race, plus ATRA waiver.
It is recommended to print up and fill out the 2010 SDVA Waiver and ATRA race entry form prior to arrival for TNR. This will help get everyone registered in time. Go to the Forms Page for these documents.
